Question by Brandon: What are my chances of getting into the University of Georgia?
Also, do you think I could get any type of scholarship?

I want to major in fashion merchandising and entrepreneurship.

I’m currently going to the 11th grade.

I’m African American.

STATS:
I have a 4.0
My GPA is close to a 98 if not a 98

I have the second highest GPA in my grade when grades are unweighted. I’m number eight when grades are weighted.

I’m taking my first AP course next year.

My SAT scores are a total of 1920– Critical Reading- 600,Math-640, Writing-680

I’m in two clubs– Eta Sigma Rhoer Club (club focusing on leadership, community service and sisterhood) and DECA (a school club focusing on Marketing)

This summer and last summer I chose to attend a credit earning summer program.

In my senior year I will only have one more required credit to graduate. Thus, I’m going to take a Fashion Design and Literature class at my school. Otherwise I will use a fashion magazine internship to take place of the rest of the unneeded classes that would fill my schedule.

Your chances are good, especially since you’re Black.

Don’t waste your undergraduate education on “Fashion”. Study something adult not connected with Barbie dolls.
